PROAVANTIA
1. Scope and responsible organization
This policy describes the handling of personal information about website visitors and people contacting PROAVANTIA about its services. Information entrusted to PROAVANTIA for a client engagement, including account access or ecommerce data, requires engagement-specific terms.
Organization: PROAVANTIA, established in Québec, Canada. Privacy officer contact: info@proavantia.com.
2. Information provided with an inquiry
When you email or call us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, business name, website and project information you choose to share. Please limit your message to information relevant to the inquiry and do not send passwords or sensitive information by email.
Email links open your email application. The forms collect your name, email address and message, without attachments, then send your inquiry to info@proavantia.com. The form module does not save messages on the website; they may be retained in email and technical delivery logs. No newsletter subscription is offered. Retention is described in section 7.
3. Use of information
Information received is used to answer inquiries, understand needs, prepare proposals and follow up on communications. A separate use, such as promotional messages, must be explained at the appropriate time and supported by consent or another basis permitted by applicable law.
An inquiry must not be treated as automatic newsletter consent.
4. Browsing, technical logs and cookies
Hosting and security services may process technical data, including IP address, request date and time, requested pages and browser information, to deliver and protect the website.
The site uses technical navigation, language, caching and security features. No Google Analytics or Meta Pixel tool or newsletter service is enabled at launch. Links to Facebook, Amazon and Pineuf are external links: when you follow them, those services’ privacy practices apply.
You can manage some cookies through your browser. Disabling necessary cookies may affect site functionality. Choices for any non-essential cookies must be specified according to the tools actually used and applicable rules.
5. Service providers and disclosures
Hostinger provides website hosting and Hostinger Mail delivers messages sent to info@proavantia.com. Form, caching and administration tools support website operation and inquiry handling. Information needed for those functions may be accessible to the technical providers involved.
6. Processing outside your territory
Information may be processed outside Québec or Canada. Hostinger identifies the website hosting infrastructure as located in Massachusetts, United States, and the stated backup location is Boston. Email and support services may use other infrastructure. Contact the privacy officer for more information about providers and the handling of your inquiry.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain the information needed to respond to your inquiry and follow up on it. Once these purposes have been fulfilled, we securely delete the information, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. Client records, contracts and accounting documents follow separate retention rules based on their nature and applicable obligations.
8. Information protection
The site uses HTTPS to encrypt exchanges with your browser. Site administration and inquiry handling require authorized access. A local WordPress backup of the database and content files is retained for technical recovery. No Internet transmission can be guaranteed risk-free; do not send passwords or sensitive information through the form.
9. Your requests and choices
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may request access to your information, corrections or details about its use. You may also request withdrawal of consent where applicable; some retention obligations may continue.
We may request only the information needed to verify identity and handle a request. Under Québec’s private-sector privacy law, access or correction requests must receive a written response within 30 days of receipt. An unresolved disagreement may be referred to Québec’s Commission d’accès à l’information under the applicable procedures.
10. Contact and updates
For privacy questions or requests, email the address below with “Privacy” in the subject line. Contact for the person responsible for personal information protection: info@proavantia.com.
This policy is updated when tools or practices change. Effective date: October 24, 2026.
